Your donations keep our library vibrant and help our children thrive!

The Library. Dedicated library staff are dreaming of and planning for the day the library can re-open safely. For now, though, the library is looking ahead to its next steps. We invite you to be partners in this work, by contributing to the Library Resiliency Campaign to help with needed funds for:

  • developing plans to re-open branch libraries for limited services, and to open the downtown library for “grab-and-go” browsing
  • continuing to purchase books and materials for children, teens, and adults to check out or download
  • determining how library programs may be offered in safe, re-imagined public spaces

The first $1,000 in donations for the Library Resiliency Campaign will be matched.

Our Children. Simultaneously, the library needs ongoing financial support to continue its groundbreaking Every Child Ready Duluth initiative. Its bold aim is that every child in Duluth will be school ready by the time they enter kindergarten. School readiness improves the odds that all of Duluth’s children will learn to read by third grade, graduate from high school, and lead successful lives. Your gift for this initiative will be matched, doubling its impact.

Join us in raising $25,000 by April 7!
