Join Us for a Community Movie Screening of “Butterfly In the Sky”!
REGISTER NOWTake a walk down memory lane and celebrate the love of reading by joining us for a special screening of the Reading Rainbow documentary, Butterfly In the Sky.
In celebration of National Library Card Sign-Up Month, you are invited to join us for this nostalgic event on September 10, 2024, at the Zeitgeist Zinema. The evening kicks off with a reception at 5:30 PM, followed by the movie screening at 6:30 PM. It’s the perfect opportunity to reconnect with your favorite childhood memories and share the joy of reading with your community.
We’d also like to extend a special thanks to Hucklebeary for hosting a free bookmark-making station and other fun activities before the movie!
Event Schedule:
5:30 PM – Reception begins
6:30 PM – Guests invited to take seats for movie
What to Expect During the Reception:
- Light Appetizers: Start the evening with a delicious selection of appetizers.
- Creative Fun: Drop by Hucklebeary’s bookmark-making station and craft your own personalized keepsake.
- Library Activities: Visit the Little Library Go van team to explore the Duluth Public Library’s offerings and learn about library cards and upcoming events.
- Book Donation & Review: Bring a beloved children’s book to donate and record a short book review at our special recording station—just like the kids did on Reading Rainbow!
