National Library Week Kickoff Celebration at the Great Lakes Aquarium

Kick off National Library Week with a family-friendly celebration at the Great Lakes Aquarium! Enjoy free admission and an interactive storytime with Minnesota children’s author Mary Casanova, featuring her books One-Dog Canoe and Utterly Otterly Day. Families can also enjoy craft stations around the aquarium and have the chance to win exciting door prizes, and get a library card at the event. Parking in the Aquarium lot will be free during the event.

10:00 AM Doors Open
10:15 AM Storytime with Mary Casanova
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Booksigning with Mary Casanova
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Crafts throughout the aquarium
12:00 PM Event Ends (Free parking closes at 12:30 PM)

The first 50 people at the event will receive free sandwich and dessert coupons from McDonald’s!

All events are free and hosted by the Duluth Library Foundation, supporting a thriving community through the power of libraries.
